Since its founding nearly sixteen years ago, the mission of IILM College Gurgaon has been to educate students who will make knowledge work. The achievements of our alumni in diverse organizations and positions of leadership in family owned firms and setting up their own businesses are a testament to our commitment to that mission. The undergraduate programme offers unique opportunity to Indian students to grasp basic management principles and practices and to develop global outlook of emerging businesses. As Indian economy and firms are getting global, the requirement of managers and entrepreneurs with global outlook and competency is also increasing. IILM College with its partner - University of Bradford tries to equip students with those skills which will help them to run their businesses across cultures and countries.
Central to our success is our collaboration with the School of Management, University of Bradford which has proved to be one the most successful and credible foreign university programmes running in India. The School of Management, University of Bradford brings the best of management education practices and quality standards of UK and Europe.
I am happy to note that IILM College Gurgaon is following the ideals of integrated learning by giving opportunities to students to develop their personality through different extracurricular activities and soft skill courses. Active extracurricular component remains crucial to the success of the programme.
An important component of academic excellence is remarkable faculty that teaches with skill and passion. Supporting IILM College faculty members, the faculty members at Bradford who have designed a world class course and course material. Emerging challenges to this programme come from increasing globalization of the management education, which to my mind, IILM College and its academic partner is highly equipped to meet those challenges and come out as the most sought after institution in that space.
The students graduating from the IILM College Gurgaonwith Bsc (Hons) degree from the University of Bradford are eligible to appear in the MAT examination conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being used by hundreds of B-schools for screening the candidates for admissions to their post graduate programmes both in India & abroad.
