CONVOCATION CEREMONY AT IILM GURGAON

“ As you embark on your journey
dear students ,
learning from experience and
knowledge you gathered,
shape your life with dignity and success,

IILM Gurgaon hosted the 3rd convocation ceremony for bachelors in management , journalism and MSc in international Business.

The students of IILM Gurgaon were awarded their eagerly awaited degrees after years of sincere effort and dedication . This day certainly encompassed the memorable days spent on campus with faculty and friends , after achieving success as they move ahead to conquer the world in their own capacities . The ceremony was graced by Dr Robert Flood, Ms Mary Flaukner and Dr Brenen from Dublin institute of technology Ireland . Dr Flood (head international affairs) awarded the degrees to the students and delivered the convocation address . The Director General Prof Badal Mukherji addressed the students and highlighted the emotions that the institute shared for them while nurturing them for the future opportunities and wished them the very best for their careers . Dr Robert Flood emphasized on the importance of learning throughout one’s life and also living a life of principles coupled with hard work . Amongst the distinguished guests was the J&K Chief Minister Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad who was part of the ceremony with his family to see his daughter receive her degree .

The campus was filled with melodious chanting of the Saraswati Vandana as the students took blessings for a bright and prosperous future . Sonam Gulati and Neha Gupta being amongst the toppers with first class honours degree . Sonam nows runs her own restaurant in Gurgaon and the other students are working with companies like Aviva life insurance and other IT companies , the budding entrepreneurs have also ventured into their own businesses or joined family owned businesses. The mission at IILM has always been to empower our students and develop them into change leaders of tomorrow . The Distinguished speakers ofcourse stressed upon the importance of constantly learning and undergoing an evolution as each day passes by . The journey only begins as they proceed to achieve higher laurels and fame in each aspect of their lives ,

We bid them farewell with the words of Robert frost

“ the woods are lovely ,dark and deep ,

Notification

The University of Bradford awards offered in collaboration with IILM are of an equivalent standard to UK based awards as evidenced by both Internal Quality Assured processes of the University, and externally by the UK Quality Assurance Agency. The awards, therefore, are deemed ‘equivalent'. The University of Bradford 's origins date back to 1860, when it was founded as The Bradford Technical College. The University received its Royal Charter in 1966.

IILM has applied for approval of the collaboration with the University of Bradford, UK to the University Grants Commission vide our application dated November 29, 2005. A copy of the application and the interim response from the University Grants Commission is available on our website, www.ubs.iilm.edu. Similarly, we have also applied to the All India Council for Technical Education on March 7, 2006 for approval. A copy of our application to the AICTE is available on our website.
