JMC EVENT - DEBATE SOCIETY

The students from the debate society of UG II and UG III from IILM College, Gurgaon had participated in the quiz competition and group talk held in Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, on 14th February and 15th February respectively. The other participating teams were from Delhi School of Economics, IIFT, JMC and other out stationed management institutes. For the group talk there were 60 participants and the topic was ‘Public Sector Vs Private Sector’. Our students Nikhil Sardana and Bharat Mohan Wig of UG II qualified for the finals. The final round had 15 participants and the topic was ‘Dream Budget’.
Bharat Mohan Wig bagged the second cash prize of Rs 1000 and the first prize was won by Delhi School of Economics.

The feedback from the students was phenomenal; they have actually evolved after every competition. They so well prepared for the group talk that they had even predicted the expected topics and worked on them in detail. Our students were appreciated by the crowd and also the judges.

For us as a management institute our USP has constantly been the motivation and close interaction with our students, which ultimately becomes the driving force for them. The intention is not only winning but also empowering our students to face the future competition they will encounter. This instance has, very simply reinforced the fact that our potential is for us to realise and utilise. Ofcourse we at IILM our very proud of our students who are just an extension of our vision and all our endeavors are eventually consolidated to see them achieve victory after victory. Hoping to see our students shining bright in future competitions and bringing recognition and applause to the institution by learning from past experiences as they move ahead.
