The Marketing degree allows students to combine an indepth knowledge of marketing with opportunities to gain a broader insight into business and management. Following a broad introduction to marketing and management subjects in the first year, the second-year modules develop their knowledge and introduce exciting new topics. .

The second year involves the study of six core marketing and marketing related modules and six other modules. Core modules include; marketing management and strategy; customer behaviour; marketing communications; marketing research; product innovation; and practice of management skills.

The final year offers a range of modules, with particular focus on direct marketing, retailing and services marketing, and business marketing. It involves the study of nine core marketing and marketing-related modules and three other modules. These core modules are: direct marketing, retailing and services marketing; corporate identity and brand management; and applied strategic management.

The non-core modules will be chosen from the remaining management modules currently available to business and management studies degree students, spanning accounting and finance, strategy, human resource management, operations management and information systems.

The University of Bradford awards offered in collaboration with IILM are of an equivalent standard to UK based awards as evidenced by both Internal Quality Assured processes of the University, and externally by the UK Quality Assurance Agency. The awards, therefore, are deemed ‘equivalent'. The University of Bradford 's origins date back to 1860, when it was founded as The Bradford Technical College. The University received its Royal Charter in 1966.

IILM has applied for approval of the collaboration with the University of Bradford, UK to the University Grants Commission vide our application dated November 29, 2005. A copy of the application and the interim response from the University Grants Commission is available on our website, www.ubs.iilm.edu. Similarly, we have also applied to the All India Council for Technical Education on March 7, 2006 for approval. A copy of our application to the AICTE is available on our website.
