STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP BY ART OF LIVING

Workshop on Stress Management, by the Art Of Living Foundation was organized at IILM College, Gurgaon, on the 21st of January, the Orientation Day for the . The Art of Living team, headed by Ms. Atika, conducted an interactive session with the students and faculty. It was a highly effective stress management and human values training program. The importance of living in the present was discussed. Students were told to value the moment today.

Meditation, being an important tool to tap ones hidden potential, was also discussed. A state in which you feel absolutely comfortable, 100% comfort, is meditation. Meditation can be seen as a mind without agitation. Breath is seen as the link between body and spirit and mind. For this purpose students were told about yoga and effective and powerful breathing processes ( the pranayam) which would help eliminate fear, anxiety, depression and other undesirable emotions.

The session also included some fun filled games, enjoyed by students and faculty alike. One such game brought about the role of focus and concentration.

The Art of Living invited the students to register for their programmes being held in Gurgaon and even offered to hold more such programmes for IILM.
