PARENTS INTERACTION

The interaction session for the parents of current students, Undergraduate College was organized on January 25, 2008 at IILM College, Gurgaon.

The highlights of the session were:

Plan for the session beginning January 2008. This included important dates for both
Bradford and DIT programs.

Overview of the examination system and Progression rules for the degree programs.
Brief report on career day session organized on Jan 22, followed by a workshop on drug abuse.
The parents were informed about the active placement cell that is student driven and would facilitate summer and final placement for the students.
The parents were also given information on mentoring system that has been initiated
from this semester.
The Examination cell provided useful information on conduct of exams and dates for the results. The dates on which results will be declared was announced
International office shared information on summer schools, study abroad trip and IILM collaborations.
Lastly the parents were given a demo session on online students details, and how parents could access the same.
The parents interaction was concluded with an informal interactive session between the parents and faculty.

Notification

The University of Bradford awards offered in collaboration with IILM are of an equivalent standard to UK based awards as evidenced by both Internal Quality Assured processes of the University, and externally by the UK Quality Assurance Agency. The awards, therefore, are deemed ‘equivalent'. The University of Bradford 's origins date back to 1860, when it was founded as The Bradford Technical College. The University received its Royal Charter in 1966.

IILM has applied for approval of the collaboration with the University of Bradford, UK to the University Grants Commission vide our application dated November 29, 2005. A copy of the application and the interim response from the University Grants Commission is available on our website, www.ubs.iilm.edu. Similarly, we have also applied to the All India Council for Technical Education on March 7, 2006 for approval. A copy of our application to the AICTE is available on our website.
